Today's athletes are bigger and stronger than ever and have access to some of the most
advanced fitness equipment available. What is one advantage that separates one athlete
above the rest? Speed. The Acceleration Program is specifically designed
to develop and enhance an athlete's speed to their maximum possible level. Using the
latest in scientific research and development, our Acceleration Programs have been proven
to affect significant increases in SPEED (two-tenths of a second in the 40-yard dash,
VERTICAL JUMP (four inches), and THROWING VELOCITY (four miles an hour).
In the highly competitive world of sports, these seemingly tiny improvements can often
mean the difference between winning and losing.
The first step of the Acceleration Program involves all participants undergoing an initial
fitness assessment. This assessment will identify the athlete's physical strengths and
weaknesses. Based on the results, a program will be designed to meet the needs and goals
of the individual.
A minimum age of 8 years is required to participate in Acceleration programs.
Training programs last for 7 weeks, and encompass programs for every sport including but
not limited too, lacrosse, tennis, volleyball, soccer, baseball, basketball, football, and
distance running.
The three primary components utilized by TEKULVE ACCELERATION TRAINING/ Athletic Republic™
Sports Training Program include the Super Treadmill Training, Plyometrics, and
Lower Body Weight Training. The patented Sprint/Sport Cords are also used. The combination
of these training modalities along with our expert staff provides an unbelievable training
stimulus that cannot be matched or even duplicated. Our training equipment and programs
are one-of-a- kind and cannot be achieved under any other training regimen.
* FUNCTIONAL REHABILITATION/
RETURN TO SPORT PROGRAM:
Tekulve Acceleration Training Functional Progression Program picks up where traditional
therapy ends. We are looking to return the injured client to full activity status in
gradually increasing increments to enhance function and confidence. The program uses the
Backpedal Treadmill, Proprioceptive Drills, Forward Treadmill and Strength Training to
reach these goals.
The Functional Rehabilitation/ Return to Sport philosophy can be utilized for almost any lower extremity
pathology. The key is to progress slowly as signs and symptoms dictate. The goal is to
return the client to their preferred activity to as close to 100% as possible. Almost any
age population can benefit from this activity with the appropriate modifications. As with
our other programs, this medically based protocol is combined with patented technology to
optimize sport-specific and traditional rehabilitation activities. Our facilities and
expert staff allow us to customize a personal rehabilitation program that can be
established and integrated into the Acceleration Program and allow the individuals
injury to be rehabilitated in the most effective and comprehensive manner available.
